It is a mission of Vessey Law to take the law as written by legislators, regulators and the courts and to provide legal services in a way that can be easily understood. We believe that our job is not only to provide the legal service requested but to also provide the client with the information necessary to understand the service and to make informed decisions about how to proceed. A client should not have to have a legal education to understand and navigate the law.

In addition, we strive to constantly improve the services we provide. If you feel that there is something we can do better or that we are not living up to the standards we set for ourselves, we ask that you let us know, so that we can improve and do better in the future.

Originally from Swan River, Devin is excited to be able to call the Swan River Valley his home and provide legal services to its residents.

Devin completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Manitoba, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences. As a geologist, Devin worked throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Following his work as a geologist, Devin graduated from the JD program at Robson Hall, Faculty of Law, University of Manitoba. After living in the city for a number of years, Devin and his wife Lindsey (originally from the Swan River Valley) decided to move to Swan River to be closer to friends and family.

Devin feels that one of the great privileges of practicing law is that it gives him the opportunity to sit down and have conversations with members of the community.
